Manhattan cocktail in Glencairn tumbler
One of our products is whisky glasses of the Tumbler type, robust and made of crystal. A delightful glass for, for example, whisky on the rocks.
However, we were recently on vacation and received a delicious cocktail in a tumbler. And we definitely want to share this true classic with you!
If you own such a beautiful glass from Glencairn, then it should definitely be a "Manhattan," a true cocktail classic.
Surprisingly delicious and elegant!
A Manhattan is one of the most famous and well-known cocktails in the world.
Recipe:
- 50 ml rye whisky
- 20 ml sweet vermouth (preferably red)
- 1-2 dashes of Angostura aromatic bitters
- Maraschino cherry
- Ice cubes
How to make it:
- Prepare all the ingredients.
- Put 3 ice cubes in a whisky mixing glass or shaker.
- Add the Angostura bitters
- Pour the rye whisky and the vermouth over the ice
- Stir gently with a stirring spoon.
- Strain the drink into a beautiful tumbler!
