Manhattan cocktail in Glencairn tumbler

One of our products is whisky glasses of the Tumbler type, robust and made of crystal. A delightful glass for example for whisky on the rocks.

However, we were recently on vacation and received a delicious cocktail in a tumbler. And we definitely want to share this true classic with you! 

If you own such a beautiful glass from Glencairn, then it must be a "Manhattan," a true cocktail classic. 

Surprisingly delicious and elegant!

A Manhattan is one of the most famous  and well-known cocktails in the world. 

Recipe:

• 50 ml rye whisky
• 20 ml sweet vermouth (preferably red)
• 1-2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters
• Maraschino cherries
• Ice cubes

How to make it:

• Prepare all the ingredients.
• Place 3 ice cubes in a whiskey mixing glass or shaker.
• Add the Angostura bitters
• Pour rye whisky and vermouth over the ice
• Stir gently with a stirring spoon. 
• Strain the drink into a beautiful tumbler!
