Quirky Chocolate — artisanal chocolate from Edinburgh
Quirky Chocolate is an artisanal chocolatier from Edinburgh, founded in 2008 by graphic designer Sandra Colamartino. Since 2016, the team of "QuirkStars" has been handcrafting all chocolate in their own factory at the foot of Arthur's Seat.
Since 2024, Quirky has been working directly with the Colombian supplier Luker Chocolate, a B Corp certified company, for their cocoa. The cocoa has the rare Fino de Aroma classification — a level achieved by only 8% of the world's cocoa growers — and is fully traceable from bean to chocolate.
Where possible, Quirky uses Scottish ingredients: from Scottish raspberries and blackberries to heather honey and roasted Highland coffee. Think of the Dark Chocolate Bar with Malt Whisky, the Crunchy Caramel & Scottish Raspberries, or the MINI Chocolate Bar Gift Set for those who want to taste multiple flavors.
