Our throws and sofa blankets are woven by three specialized makers from Great Britain: Tweedmill (Wales), Bronte by Moon (Yorkshire, England) and TBCo (Scotland). From classic tartan to modern herringbone, from 100% new wool to soft lambswool and recycled wool — the right throw for every interior and every budget, available from stock.

Our makers

At Mood Company, we work with three makers, each with their own origin and specialty:

• Tweedmill — a family business from Flint, North Wales, active since 1971. More than 50 years of weaving experience on traditional looms, specializing in 100% new wool with classic tartan and herringbone patterns.
• Bronte by Moon — produced by Abraham Moon & Sons in Yorkshire, England, one of the last vertical wool mills in Great Britain (since 1837).The Bronte by Moon line has existed since around 2009 and is known for its soft Merino and Shetland lambswool.
• TBCo — founded in 2014 by Emma Macdonald in Edinburgh, Scotland. B Corp certified brand with a strong focus on natural and recycled fibers.

Uses and Applications

• On the sofa: the herringbone and tartan throws from Tweedmill (100% new wool) are sturdy and colorfast — ideal for dressing up your sofa or chair.
• On the bed: the soft Shetland and Merino lambswool from Bronte by Moon feels extra luxurious as an additional layer on your bed. For larger sizes, we also have bedspreads, and for the very little ones, wool baby blankets.
• Outdoors: the lightweight, durable recycled wool from TBCo is ideal for a picnic, an evening on the terrace, or a cool summer evening outside.
