Tips for beautiful ice (Basic):

Fill the mold slowly to prevent air bubbles as much as possible.
Preferably use filtered water for clearer ice.
Wrap the filled ice mold loosely in a kitchen towel. This makes the water freeze more slowly, which often results in clearer ice.
Let the mold sit at room temperature for 1-2 minutes before removing the ice.
White or cloudy spots are normal. These occur because air bubbles and minerals get trapped in the ice during freezing.
